We are currently using the latest version of Adobe CS for P.C., Illustrator is our dominant graphics program for artwork preparation and conversion to film.
Formats
P.C. Illustrator Vector Files, all fonts to be saved as outline.
Illustrator files created by a Mac will need to be saved to an earlier version for P.C. (follow your Mac save menu).
Coral Draw files saved to .AI Adobe Illustrator, all text saved as curves for P.C.
J-pegs, Tiffs, Bitmaps are not ideal for our methods but can sometimes be used at a high resolution of 600dpi min and preferably turned to black before sending, we cannot guarantee print quality from these file formats.
PDFs are usually read only files and can only be used to view; if the file was created in illustrator and saved with editing capabilities preserved we can re-open the file in illustrator.
